Ironically altering the fate in the play that crossed generations in the eyes of William Shakespeare and his spouse, Hathaway, the newly produced play is a fresh reimagining of Juliet’s future if she chose a different path from the original tragedy.
The current play features a principally female group, who compared to their personalities in the late classic, finally discover who they are in their journey together across Paris. By extensively utilizing chart-topping numbers, flashy costumes, and a modernized script, '& Juliet' is able to highlight the growth of women empowerment and the positive change over the years and shows it through the live play.
